Eagle Brae is set among the grandeur of some of the wildest glens, highest mountains and largest lochs of the northern Scottish Highlands.
Several Munros – Scottish mountains over 3,000ft high – lie at the head of nearby Glen Affric and Glen Strathfarrar, offering the perfect challenge for energetic Eagle Brae adventurers. Three major lochs feed into Rivers Farrar and Glass, providing excellent salmon fishing on Eagle Brae’s own private beats. Also within easy reach is Strathfarrar’s indigenous pinewood forest and regenerating wildflower grasslands.
Eagle Brae is easy to get to, lying just 23 miles from Inverness train station and city centre and 30 miles from Inverness Airport. The closest village is Beauly (13 miles), where there is a railway station, a number of shops, eating places and other amenities.
Eagle Brae’s hosts, Mike and Pawana, will always be happy to help you make travel arrangements and recommend options to suit your requirements.
