At Eagle Brae, all of our log cabins have been made by Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia, Canada. For over 40 years, Pioneer Log Homes of BC has been leading the way in sustainably sourced, beautifully handcrafted log home design and innovation. The known leaders in “pushing the limits” of log and timber architecture, they have built some of the most beautiful, inspiring log monuments around the world. Committed to sustainability and reforestation, they consider themselves stewards of the forest (although you may also know them as Timber Kings).

Master craftsmen through and through, all of the timber they use is totally sustainable. Building on a lifetime of experience, they believe that building beautiful log homes by hand is a work of art. Their log of choice is Western Red Cedar, known for its incredible natural beauty and durable characteristics. Each log is carved, fitted, tagged and numbered by hand in Canada, before being reassembled on-site. All in all, it is quite literally a labour of love .
