Certhia

Certhia is one of our new log cabins, which opened in December 2018. This Scottish self-catering log cabin in the Highlands sits on a ridge with its own private view point, looking down the majestic Strathglass, towards Erchless castle. Here, you can get closer to nature, while enjoying the warmth and comfort of your luxury accommodation. Watch out for wild deer, which regularly pass across the front of Certhia’s deck.

The name Certhia means Treecreeper, a sweet little bird that climbs up tree trunks as it hunts for insects in the bark.

Certhia Log Cabin Features

Certhia sleeps 2 to 4 people in one double or twin room, plus 2 single character log beds on the mezzanine. So it’s well-suited for couples or small families. The bathroom has its own sauna and walk-in shower, in addition to a bath and in-bath shower. It has a sitting-kitchen-dining area, an additional upstairs sitting room and office space. Outside, there’s a large private deck with seating, covered by a large roof overhang. A truly beautiful log cabin, inside and out!
