Sylvia
Sylvia sits on the edge of a flat meadow, in a quiet peaceful spot behind the old broch. As the only cabin at Eagle Brae to face due south, it’s the one that gets the best of the Scottish sunshine (when the sun decides to shine). But whatever the weather, Sylvia brings breath-taking views across Strathglass, a stunning interior and warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect log cabin in Scotland for a romantic Highland escape. And definitely a cabin for deer lovers! These majestic creatures are daily visitors all year round. In fact, the meadow on which Sylvia sits is a local rutting ground for sparring stags. This cabin is also a hot spot for badgers on the deck.
The name Sylvia means blackcap, a sweet little bird in the warbler family and one of our friendly neighbours here at Eagle Brae.
