How to access Glen Strathfarrar

Start the walk by parking just off Glen Strathfarrar road between Deanie Power Station and Loch a’Mhuillidh. However, please be aware that the road into Glen Strathfarrar is private, so be sure to check out permission from the Mountaineering Council of Scotland. The permit is free and available at the Strathfarrar entrance gate from April – October (inclusive) every year. Visitors can walk and cycle in Glen Strathfarrar all year round, but to drive in the glen you need a Glen Strathfarrar access permit.
