We’ve always had a gift shop in the reception at Eagle Brae, where guests can choose from a selection of unique items to remind them of their stay here. Gifts and souvenirs from the Scottish Highlands
Clothing
Pick up a truly unique item of clothing, with our beautiful Nehru jackets and waistcoats, made exclusively for Eagle Brae in Pawana’s home district of Himachal Pradesh in the Indian Himalayas. Hand-made from Himalayan sheep’s wool and similar to Scottish tweed jackets, they bring a touch of the Himalayas to the Highlands! You can also find complementing Kului topis, traditional hats from Himachal Pradesh (Mike wears one every day!).
For a traditional Scottish look, we also sell classic Scottish Highland estate tweed hats, made for us by the famous Highland tweedhouse Campbell’s of Beauly.
And not forgetting our popular “Log In Log Out” T-shirts, featuring images of the large cut logs that give our beautiful log cabins their distinctive look.
Homeware
We have a range of homeware items, some of which you’ll recognise from our log cabins. Such as our Birdsong Clock, which chimes on the hour with a different burst of birdsong. Or our Cast Iron Stag Hooks, custom-made for Eagle Brae. Make your home cosy and stylish with our range of rugs and tartan throws. And for a real statement piece, you can have your very own antler chandelier. Mike makes these by hand from red deer antlers sourced in the Highlands, and every one is unique.
Soaps, incense and more …
Treat yourself to hand-made eco-soaps made locally in the Highlands. With a choice of gorgeous natural fragrances – lemongrass, bog myrtle, cedar wood or juniper and lemon. These soaps are available in all cabins, and guests were always asking where they could buy them. So now you can!
You may recognise these hand-rolled incense sticks from your Eagle Brae welcome hamper, which all guests receive when they arrive here. Now you can stock up in the online shop.
